Spring in DC

It's spring time in Washington DC and I love it. I had a great day out on the town with Stella. I'm glad we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather together. I even got to meet up with my brother in law since he happened to be leading a tour in DC this weekend. What a great day! And I can tell Stella's photography is improving quickly. All the pictures you see of me were taken by her :)

South American Division

Here are a few pictures from my recent trip to the South American Division of the Adventist Church in Brazil & Peru.

The focus of the trip was to capture video stories so I did not take a lot of stills. To see some of the stories we produce each quarter visit the Adventist Mission website.

Brenan & Bridgette

I recently had the privilege of taking my good friend's engagement pictures. Here is a sample of the shoot.

Brenan & Bridgette visited the DC area so we went out one afternoon to the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Although it may look warm in these pictures, I can promise you that it was cold out. They did a great job and I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding later in the year! Congratulations Brenan & Bridgette!

Mount of Olives

I recently went to Mexico to shoot a mission project in the city of Uruapan. The project is called the Mount of Olives Children's Orphanage. It houses kids who come from bad situations and gives them a new home and family. The kids are cared for lovingly and appreciate what they are given. The current need is for a new community building where the families can gather to worship, eat meals, and socialize together.

The trip was a blast and I met a lot of amazing, sincere people. I know God is working at the Mount of Olives to care for his children. I am in the process of editing a short video to promote the orphanage. I only had less than a full day to shoot so I'm hoping I have all I need and the quality is up to par. All of these pictures were from my iPhone throughout the trip.
