Kristie & Gabs Engagement

Now this was a fun couple to be around. Kristie and Gabs met overseas and both share a love for humanitarian work and for each other. We had a blast walking around Georgetown, DC!

Film Is Not Dead

I went out this weekend with Stella to shoot some film. I'll admit it's been a while since I've done that so we'll see how the shots turn out. I already had a half used roll of film in the camera…can't wait to see what's on it from before.

A Crack at Double Exposure

Literally my first time ever trying the double exposure feature on the camera. Not the best but at least I tried. Definitely more to come in the future.

New Market Snowfall

I went down to New Market, VA with Stella to visit some good friends of ours, Dale and Amanda. We had a great time with them and it ended up snowing the morning we were supposed to drive home!

Baltimore Aquarium

We visited the Baltimore Aquarium for my job's Christmas party. It was my first time there and turned out to be really nice!

Belize

My first time to Belize (or anywhere in Central America).  I had a great time visiting all six districts. I covered it from North to South. In addition to what you see here I was able to form some great relationships with the beautiful people of Belize.

Sorido Bay

Here is a preview of one story I shot in Raja Ampat, Indonesia.

Behind the Scenes: Indonesia

Here are a few fun shots of me working during my September trip to Indonesia.

On the edge of the dock during Max Ammer's interview
In a village built from an abandoned Korean mining camp
The people were laughing at me. They couldn't understand why I would want the camera on the floor!

Revisiting Indonesia

I had the amazing privilege of revisiting Indonesia. It's been about 5 years since my last visit. It was great to visit a part of Indonesia that I had never been to. I went to West Papua, which is not the easiest place on earth to reach. I ventured flight after flight and the planes were smaller and smaller each time. When I arrived to Jakarta I met up with Pastor Doug Venn who I had worked with in Thailand 5 years ago!

I finally reached Sorong, where we met our Adventist Aviation pilot Bob Roberts and local missionary Darron Boyd. Turns out it's a small world and we had lots in common (Chattanooga!). They were great company for the next 11 days. So grateful to have this opportunity and I hope to go back soon!

Here are a few of my shots throughout the trip.
